Of course we had to visit Tombstone while we were staying in Tucson. One of my very favorite movies of all time, I have seen the Kurt Russell version probably 100 times and was able to watch it on the big screen while I ate a veggie burger at Doc Holliday's Saloon! The reenactment at the OK Corral is a must see and is about $10 for an adult. The Tombstone Brewery is just down the road from the courthouse and had quite a few options to try.
Saguaro National Park
Loma Verde Trail at Saguaro National Park East
This hike was on the east side of Tucson and was just under 4 miles. It was early November and we felt overwhelmed by the heat at the end of the hike. Definitely go early in the day. There were so many different cactus varieties and tons of huge Saguaro.
Walt Disney World Christmas 2020
We spent 4 days in Orlando this Christmas with family. What an amazing time and really enjoyed spending quality time after being gone for 7 months. Disney still  had very strict Covid restrictions so attendance was limited and masks were required at all times. Because of the limited attendance, wait times were very low and we were able to ride almost everything with little to no wait.
Animal Kingdom
The Avatar rides and Everest were so awesome! I love the tram rides through the Safari. The guides were all great and so informative.
Meaher State Park, Spanish Fort, Alabama
We are current traveling back to West Yellowstone for another awesome year at Grizzly RV Park. Stop one is Meaher State Park in Spanish Fort, Alabama which was about a 10 minute ride to downtown Mobile on 98. We snagged a waterfront site and even though it was overcast, it was gorgeous. They have a .6 mile trail that goes out to a boardwalk where we saw tons of water fowl, bunnies and itty, bitty alligators. There was another large boardwalk and a boat ramp. Check in was super easy and the sites will fit the biggest RVs with plenty of room to spread out. We didn't use either of the two bathhouses but they appeared to be well maintained. There were quite a few seafood restaurants within a 5 minute drive and at least a half dozen breweries within a 15 minute drive. We will definitely stop here again.
JH Anderson, Jr Memorial Park, Rock Bluff Springs, Bell, Florida
No hike here yet but this is a gorgeous spot to take a dip in the small spring and have a picnic lunch. This is maintained by the Alachua Conservation Trust and there is at $5 fee for admission. If you are staying on the Santa Fe or Suwannee rivers, this park is a short drive from any of the local campgrounds. Just past the entrance is a bridge over the Suwannee. It's just gorgeous and there was parking at Rock Bluff boat ramp. Definitely a hidden gem in North Florida.
Fort White Wildlife and Environmental Area
South Loop
This 1 mile hike takes you through Palmettos and Pine trees and then along the Santa Fe River.
Busch Gardens Tampa with the family!
Lions, Tigers and Hyenas!
My sister treated us to Busch Gardens tickets while we were visiting and we had so much fun! No roller coasters for me but I LOVE seeing all the animals. It was warm that day so the animals were all napping by mid morning. Impossible Burgers are available in several of the restaurants and they have a brew pub overlooking the Serengetti so you can watch the animals and have a flight.
Bolen Bluff Trail at Paynes Prairie State Park
Wild Horses!
This short, easy hike is absolutely stunning. Gorgeous views of the prairie, tons of birds, bison poo and wild horses! This trail starts just south of the park entrance and requires a $2 cash payment if you don't have a Florida State Parks Pass. Parts of this trail can be muddy so make sure to take the proper footwear.
Snow Day in West Yellowstone!
Virginia City, Montana

Virginia City, Montana was just a short drive from where we were staying in Ennis. Virginia City was founded in 1863 when gold was found in Alder Creek. The site is now a National Historic Landmark. We used a self guided walking tour map to see almost 80 historical buildings and sites and thousands of artifacts. Everything was pretty close together so it was an easy walk. Definitely take the car up to see the cemeteries as they are quite a hike uphill. The view from the Boot Hill Cemetery is spectacular!
